3rd Portuguese Conference on Marine Litter and Microplastics

This year APLM is organising the 3rd edition of the Portuguese Conference on Marine Litter and Microplastics, bringing together stakeholders from different sectors of society in an integrated approach, including scientific and technical aspects, promoting interaction and debates on policies, impacts and solutions to this global problem. It is a conference primarily aimed at society.

The conference will take place in the format of panel discussions that include very short presentations in the context of the areas of expertise of the members of each panel, followed by active moderation through questions that will be posed by the moderator and the audience.

In addition to the panels indicated in the programme, the afternoon of the 21st will be dedicated to collaborative games developed by APLM that promote ocean literacy and there will be a celebration to mark APLM’s 10 years of activity – For a Sea without Garbage. On the afternoon of the 22nd there will be a sustainable fashion show organised by the Etikway platform.
