The oldest Magic Festival in Portugal, the brainchild of the famous magician Luís de Matos, is returning to Coimbra.

This is a national and international reference project, which places Coimbra on the national and international artistic and cultural map, attracting visitors from Portugal and abroad.

In 2023, on the Festival’s 27th anniversary, the International Galas, one of the most anticipated moments of Encontros Mágicos, will be held for the eighth year at the Convento São Francisco, in a joint organisation with Coimbra City Council.
