Before leaving the harbour, marine biologists or specialists in Marine Sciences and Nature will give you an explanation about dolphins in the Azores. You’ll learn how to swim with dolphins responsibly in the wild and how to use the mask and snorkel. In other words, this introduction is essential if you want to enjoy this unique experience to the full. You will also be informed about the safety rules on board and how to behave around the dolphins.
Diving with dolphins is only available during the migration season, which is between 1st June and 15th October. Outside of this time, the programme is available to see cetaceans without diving.

Note: To take part in this activity, you must be comfortable swimming in the open sea and know how to use a mask and tube.
Children aged 8 and over can take part as long as they fulfil these requirements and are accompanied by a responsible adult.
We start the adventure in Ponta Delgada marina, on board a semi-rigid boat with a maximum of 8 people. We use small boats so that you can do this experience in peace.
Recommendations: Comfortable clothes and shoes, windproof jacket, sunscreen, towel, cap, rucksack, water and snacks.
