Naturcôa

The municipality of Sabugal is once again the stage for Naturcôa, an event organised by the Municipality of Sabugal and dedicated to image, nature and heritage.

The growing low population density of this territory has ended up leaving us, somewhat ironically, cultural landscapes of unrivalled beauty and uniqueness. The fields, once cultivated, have given way to vast forests and scrubland, (re)creating a biodiversity of differentiating and inestimable value.

The Côa is born here, the river that defines the territory. It is directly or indirectly responsible for a large part of the cultural (tangible and intangible) and natural heritage of the municipality of Sabugal. All of it immensely rich, but almost unknown.

Above all, we want you to share in this event, where different perspectives will give us new insights. IMAGE, NATURE, HERITAGE… and the SHARING of knowledge and different realities.
