Barter Market for Children and Young People

Barter Market for Children and Young People

The space next to the “Ler ao Cubo” Garden Library, in Parque Verde do Mondego, will host the “Swap Market” for children and young people next Saturday, 16th September. An initiative promoted by Casa da Esquina, with the collaboration of Coimbra City Council, through the Municipal Library, which allows young people to exchange books, toys, games or other objects, raising awareness of responsible consumption. The initiative will take place from 10h00 to 13h00.

“Swap what you no longer want for what you need” is the motto of the “Swap Market” for children and young people, a regular initiative of Casa da Esquina for over 10 years, which aims to raise awareness among young people about responsible consumption.

At the “Swap Market”, little ones can swap books, toys, games, CDs, DVDs and other objects in good condition that they no longer use and exchange them for others they want to play with.
