ABOUT RACING TRITON

TRITON is a new mass participation triathlon series that brings participants together from across the globe to great destinations. Read more about TRITON HERE 

The series has 3 very distinct race formats:

TRITON, taking place on three consecutive days, allowing athletes to tackle each discipline individually (swim, bike and run), or do just one or two of the sports, and with more focus on the destination experience; TRITON 1, a one-day triathlon; and TRITON Gym Series a new format under development.

TRITON LISBOA RACING FORMAT AND OPTIONS

TRITON Lisboa is a one day regular triathlon format that offers, like all TRITON events, three distances that we call SHORT, MIDDLE and FULL.

• SHORT – 600m swim, 22.5k bike, 5k run
• MIDDLE – 1.2k swim, 45k bike, 10k run
• FULL – 1.8k swim, 90k bike, 20k run
• SPECIAL RACE – KIDS & PARENTS ( 100m SWIM – 1k RUN)

For all distances participants have the options to race individually, by gender, and age group, as a team or for the new TRITON Mix&match  format.

Are you a more advanced swimmer, cyclist or runner and want to try the other disciplines but on a different distance? No worries, you can, register one by one, meaning, do 3 registrations, and this way you will be able to mixing and matching the distances as you prefer.

Remember that only when you chose one of the full races, SHORT, MIDDLE, or FULL, you will be part of the series and eventually qualify for a finals event when it happens.
