The “Bandas de Cá” in a single festival to cheer up the heart of Guarda! There’s one more efe to add to the five that accompany Guarda. The “highest” city, also known as the “city of the five efes”: Forte, Farta, Fria, Fiel and Formosa, now has an F for Festival: Bandas de Cá. Between 28 August and 1 September, the evenings in Praça Luís de Camões (Praça Velha) will feature daily concerts, at 9.30pm, with musical projects from the Guarda region performing in the pop/rock spectrum. 28 August – DIAMAR 29 August – 100 Ensaios 30 August – Velut Luna 31 August – Good Friday 1 September – Trivenção
