The harsh nature of the Douro International Natural Park brings us face to face with griffon, vultures, eagles and black stork sightings. The cliff capital in Portugal gives us the opportunity to walk by one of the main river's rocky cannons in the world.
Practice a healthy, pleasant and non-polluting sport! The program also includes cultural visits to Mirandese donkeys and to local gastronomy restaurants where you can taste "Mirandês" beef. Downhill at a walking pace to enjoy the beautiful landscape. This activity requires some physical effort. We recommend good physical shape, good health and determination.
The activity can be made under intense heat. One of the overnight stays doesn’t have a shower. The organization will have a mobile shower, one power generator, a chest freezer and a trailer for personal objects. Please bring your own tent to sleep in. We recommend experience in this kind of activities and the minimum weight possible in mattresses and tent size. Being able to swim is mandatory. Using the vest is mandatory.
