The most unforgettable MTB race in stages in the country returns from May 8 to 16, 2021.
Cross Portugal in 8 days from north to south, ending in Sagres – the most southwestern tip of Europe; 900 km of off-road racing along dirt paths that cross forests, rivers and streams, hills and valleys, alternating from fast roads to vertiginous single tracks on the cliffs.
No signs or ribbons hanging to indicate the path, but following the GPS in an intuitive and infallible way to follow the route. An innovative form of race where competitors just follow a virtual trace of the route on the screen of their GPS receiver.
TransPortugal is a test in stages; one step per day; a single category that classifies competitors individually, but with bonuses by sex and age.
Shortest stage – 85km, longest stage – 190km; Average per stage 112.5 km. 16,000 meters of cumulative height difference.
New registrations from October 1, 2020.
