Walking in the Sete Cidades | Azores

We start the journey in Ponta Delgada at the door of your hotel or also next to the Tourist Office, on Avenida do Mar. Let’s taketo the Miradouro da Vista do Rei where we will make the first stop to enjoy the view of the Sete Cidades caldera and learn more about its geological formation. Then we begin our walk (about 3km) already next to Lagoa das Sete Cidades, on the bridge that divides the green lagoon from the blue lagoon. We follow a dirt road towards the Peninsula of Lagoa das Sete Cidades, until the place known as Ponta dos Carneiros. Our guide will explain you some characteristics of this magical place.
