See Braga Tthrough a Straw

The district of Braga offers many points of interest and tourist attractions, were it not for the region where the country originated. The beautiful and ancient city of Braga, as well as the birthplace of Guimarães (UNESCO World Heritage), assume central positions that allow us to move quickly, from the beaches of Esposende to Portela do Homem in the Peneda Gerês National Park. To “burn calories” it would be enough to climb the steps of the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus in order to observe “Braga through a straw”, but we do not neglect the visit to the historic center and the Cathedral of Braga, before going for a walk in the heart of the National Park Peneda-Gerês, where we find Nature in its purest state. We continue along about 4 km through magical forests, where the sun does not enter and we almost run into wild horses, deer, squirrels, wild boars and many other species.
