Rock Art int the Tagus Valley

This program includes guided tours to the Tagus Valley Rock Art Interpretation Centre and a boat trip on the Tagus River, among other activities. Designed for families and groups, the “Rock Art in the Tagus Valley” is a wonderful journey where you can taste the best olive oils and visit an ancient Roman gold mine. The program also includes visiting megalithic sites and the Tagus Valley Rock Art Interpretation Centre. Day 1 Arrival at the accommodation. Day 2 Breakfast at the accommodation. Morning: Visit the Tagus Valley Rock Art Interpretation Centre, in Vila Velha de Ródão; go for the discovery of the Rock Art Station of Fratel. Lunch: In a restaurant with regional gastronomy, where the flavors of the great river abound. Afternoon: Boat trip along the great Tagus River in an archaeological trip for the Rock Art; visit the traditional Olive Oil Pole Press with a tasting session of the finest olive oils of the Tagus steep slopes, at Vila Velha de Ródão. Evening: Rest at the accommodation. Day 3 Breakfast at the accommodation. Morning: Visit the Megalithic Dolmen of Saint Gens, a national monument; Discover the Conhal do Arneiro and an ancient Roman gold mine.
