Old paths on Pico island

The pedestrian trails give us the unique opportunity to discover the cultural and natural history of Pico island, through the old access canadas to the bush or to the coast. To walk along these paths is to discover stories, lives of work and struggle of the men and women who helped to open up and build Pico. It is possible to find much of the endemic and native flora of the island in these incursions through Nature, in routes where the landscape says more than any word!
