A JOURNEY THROUGH THE PASTURES OF PICO ISLAND WITH ITS HAPPY COWS. LEARN HOW MILK AND HONEY ARRIVE AT THE TABLE.
Perhaps one of the most interesting ways to discover the territory is to enjoy the flavours produced locally. On an island with so many cows, we couldn’t fail to offer an activity related to them! In this experience, we start the morning in a factory where we will have the opportunity to make cheese and butter. We will stop for a picnic in the Mistério de São João and continue to an apiary were properly equipped, we will enter the world of bees and at the end, we will taste the honey “incense flower”, a PDO product.
