Kayak tour of the Côa River

In a stunning setting, combining physical activity with leisure, rock art with fauna and flora, come and kayak the Côa River! Starting in Canada do Inferno or Fariseu, during the Meândrico river route, it is possible to observe the existing biodiversity, in addition to immemorial aurochs, horses, goats or deer inscribed in schist. Among the species that can be seen include birds like griffon vultures, black storks, vultures of Egypt or royal eagles, endemic plants of the region and, with some luck, some of the otters that make the Côa their home. After the visit to the Fariseu, where the largest outdoor engraving in the world was recently discovered, a 3.5m aurochs, the Fariseu is the chosen place for the retemperador picnic that allows the tasting of traditional products of the region.
