Visit geo-monuments and waterfalls, walk along forests and part of the International Appalachian Trail. In this trip, you can visit the Mosqueiro viewpoint, the waterfalls of Fraga da Água and the Portas de Almourão Geomonument. Take a workshop at the Living Science Centre and enjoy the guided hiking trail. Don’t forget your camera! Day 1 Arrival to the accommodation. Day 2 Breakfast at the Hotel. Morning: Hiking Trail through the “Great Muradal-Pangea Trail”, part of the International Appalachian Trail, the longest hiking trail in the world. Lunch in restaurant with singular regional gastronomy. Afternoon: Visit to the Waterfalls of Fraga da Água d’Alta Geomonument and to the Europeansubtropical forest-relic; dusk observation in the Mountains of the Center of Portugal at the Cabeço Mosqueiro Viewpoint. Accommodation Day 3 Breakfast at the Hotel. Morning: Visit to the Living Science of the Forest Centre with a wax candles workshop and honey tasting; visit to the Portas de Almourão Geomonument.
