Furnas Delight Bike Tour

We will explore Furnas, one of the most emblematic locations on the island of São Miguel. The day begins with a bike trail where we start in the parish, go to the viewpoint of Pico dos Milhos and go around Lagoa das Furnas. It is an easy and almost always flat trail. There we can observe one of the active volcanoes on the island, enjoying its impressive lagoon and boilers of boiling water, where the traditional stew is made. In the afternoon we visit the parish of Furnas, which is also known for one of the most impressive botanical gardens in Europe, composed of a huge variety of plants and trees, in addition to having small lakes and streams. The great attraction of this incredible garden is a large thermal water pool, where you can enjoy a very relaxing bath.
