EXPLORE THE NATURAL PARK OF SERRA D’AIRES E CANDEEIROS AND THE BEAUTIFUL UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE OF ÉVORA.
We designed this trip for those in search of a teeming mixture of nature and heritage and a dot of excellent cuisine to top it off! This tour explores three regions, the Natural Park of Serra d’Aires e Candeeiros, the beautiful region around Évora – a city classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, and the gorgeous natural park of Alentejo SW and the Vicentine Coast – a dramatic change of landscapes going from the inland mountain range, Alentejo plains to the impressive south coast. Note, due to the tough profile of the climbs in Serra d’Aires e Candeeiros, we programmed this tour with e-bikes. But if you opt to use a normal bike we guarantee you will have a more challenging ride!… Your evenings will be spent with Chefs or local cooks. In our cooking classes, you will learn how to prepare the acclaimed Portuguese delicious and uncomplicated food. At each class, you will receive a little cookbook with the recipe of what you prepared so that you can repeat the cooking experience back home. We can adjust this trip to fit your best wishes and performance level.
