In the morning you can stroll the historic streets of Castelo Branco and visit the local museums. In the afternoon, try a boat trip in the calm water of the Tagus river. Don’t miss the stud farm and the horse riding baptisms in the last day of the program. Day 1 Thermal experience in Termas de Monfortinho with tasting of mineral-medicinal waters. Arrival at the accommodation. Day 2 Breakfast at the accommodation. Morning: Stroll in the historical center of Castelo Branco, including the Cargaleiro Museum, the Contemporary Art Centre and the famous “Embroidery of Castelo Branco” workshop. Lunch in a restaurant with slow food regional gastronomy. Afternoon: Boat trip through the Portas de Rodão natural monument in the calm waters of the Tagus river, with the possibility of birdwatching of some species such as the griffon vulture, the black stork, the rüppell’s vulture, besides the European otter, turtles, etc. Accommodation. Day 3 Breakfast at the accommodion. Morning: a visit to the stud farm, in Nisa; horse-riding baptism in the landscapes of Alentejo.
