Stand Up Paddle is an activity that allows you to connect with yourself and challenge your limits and capabilities a little. This way you have the possibility to explore the island a little more and have a closer view of what is our coast and lagoons. Embrace the spirit of adventure, challenge your skills and escape your routine by rowing and enjoying what the island of São Miguel and its nature has to offer. Ideal for those looking for new ways to explore the beauty of the island in a more spiritual context. Suitable for almost all ages, families and friends. Discover stunning places, wonderful panoramas and the local fauna, flora and geology. With this baptism of SUP, you will learn how to row and at the same time explore our lagoons and our sea. The places of learning will be in the famous area of Caloura, in the marina of Vila Franca do Campo, Sete Cidades lagoon and Prainha de São Roque, because they are calm and quiet water flat zones for the first experience. The location of the activity depends essentially on current weather conditions. This activity begins with a brief introduction with little theory and a lot of action. All equipment is distributed, still, on the ground, it is explained in detail and practised the whole process of rowing in the SUP. And to break the ice is made a fun warming game. After all the explanation, we are ready to grow, explore, listen to stories, among other things. NOTE: Do not need previous experience but should feel comfortable inside the water (sea or lagoon); For this activity, it is important to be willing to learn and the fun is guaranteed.
