Hyundai Porto Half Marathon

The 16th edition of the Hyundai Porto Half Marathon takes place on 17 September. The race began in 2007 and has since united the cities of Porto and Gaia on a magnificent route along the riverside.

The start is scheduled for 9am on Avenida de Dom Carlos I (next to Jardim do Passeio Alegre) and the finish will be at the same place, flanked by an Alameda of palm trees. This year, the great novelty of the route is the return to Vila Nova de Gaia. Athletes will once again have the chance to run on one of the most characteristic landmarks in the north of the country, the Luís I Bridge.

The event will run along the beautiful banks of the River Douro and, in addition to the main 21-kilometre race, there will also be a 5-kilometre Mini Marathon for the whole family.
