The Municipality of Almeida is organising the 19th edition of the Historical Reenactment of the Siege of Almeida, on 25, 26 and 27 August, in the bastioned fortress of Almeida. The historic town of Almeida returns once again to 1810 to recreate the historic Siege of Almeida, during the Third French Invasion, with a vast programme of historical military activities and permanent entertainment for the whole family.
