Building Hope and a New Future through Entrepreneurship
The Portuguese-American organisation Friends of Portugal, together with the Alcácer Hub coworking space, have invited a panel of national and international entrepreneurs to share experiences and knowledge at the conference: “Building Hope and a New Future through Entrepreneurship.”
The conference will take place on 28 September at 5pm in the Alcácer do Sal Municipal Auditorium and will be attended by the city’s Vice-President, Manuel de Jesus.
The first session will feature a talk with entrepreneurs Maria Bagulho (Silvitec) and Miguel Mesquita (Merah Brunch), two success stories in local entrepreneurship. Next, a panel of international speakers – Stephen Johnston (Coherence), Stijn Neuteleers (Alentegria) and Jon Wiebe (MB Foundation) – will share with the participants some of their experiences, successes and difficulties that have arisen in the development of their companies.
These talks are intended to inspire the audience and encourage a broader and more positive view of entrepreneurship, and everyone is invited to attend, subject to registration.
