Cybersecurity in a Digital World
The webinar ‘Cybersecurity in a Digital World’ will take place on September 19, 2023, at 2.30pm, organised by the Local Learning Centres (CLA) of the Open University (UAb) in Abrantes, Ansião, Cantanhede, Mêda, Porto de Mós and Sabugal, in partnership with the National Centre for the Qualification of Trainers (CNQF) of the IEFP, IP, and the Qualifica Centre of the Centre for Training, Assistance and Development (CFAD) in Guarda. This webinar is part of the Skills Cycle 2023, which aims to mark the European Year of Skills. The aim of this initiative is to promote discussion and reflection on the growing role of the digital network in the relationship between people and organisations, with a focus on cybersecurity and privacy issues. The following speakers will take part:
Henrique São Mamede, lecturer in the Department of Science and Technology at Universidade Aberta, affiliated researcher at INESC TEC and specialist in the Digital Transformation of Organisations and Cybersecurity.
Luís Garcia, PhD in Computer Science, specialised in Cybersecurity, Ethical Hacking, Networks and Cloud Computing, Researcher in ICT in Education and Collaborative Learning. Trainer with experience in Portugal and Portuguese-speaking African countries in the Technical and Pedagogical areas.
